Hattrick for Jason

Jason Ng scores yet another hattrick as he claims Leg 9 Golden Break 10 Ball Pool Tour 2012/13 at Taman Mayang after defeating Trickshot's Muhd Aidi 11-9 in the Final.

This triumph follows after his two consecutive wins at Golden Break's Old Klang Road and Kuchai Avenue outlets, making it three in a row and matching the current top seed Alvin Wijaya's feat of hattrick victories.

Jason Ng takes home RM 1,500 for his effort whilst Muhd Aidi only manages RM 700 as the Runner up.

Imtiaz wins at TP Snooker

After a very hard fought final, Imtiaz Serwer pulled through to win Leg One XZ Snooker Tour 2013 at TP Snooker, Shah Alam. He beats Rory Thor 4-3 to claim the title.

Both semi finals were also a closely fought match with the matches going all the way to the decider as well. Mohd Reza, whom led 3-1 with requiring only 1 more frame to progress to the Final, fell down right before the finish line and lost on the dccider.

Patrick Ooi too faced the same fate, leading 3-2 but was forced by Imtiaz to bring the match to the decider. Imtiaz slammed the winning Pink ball in, playing a cushion shot which made it more painful for Patrick.

Rory Thor opened the Final with a 117 points break to lead 1-0 but was quickly overtaken by Imtiaz to regain the lead at 2-1. Rory won the next 2 frames with a 51 break, to lead 3-2 needing one more frame only to clinch the first title of the year but yet again was forced to the decider by Imtiaz. Final frame cued off with Imtiaz in control and maintained all the way to the colour balls. Trailing 10 points with 3 snookers required, Rory made 2 snookers successfully with Imtiaz getting more nervous. After a few safety shots and snooker attempts, Imtiaz finally potted the Brown to seal his first 2013 victory.

Imtiaz Serwer takes home RM 3,000 cash prize for the first victory of the year while Rory collects RM 1,200 cash prize and trophy. Highest break went to Rory Thor with 117 points made during the Final. He takes home RM 500 plus a Altantis snooker cue courtesy of Wiraka.

Quarter Finals Results

The top 3 seeded players goes through to the Semi Final of Leg One XZ Snooker Tour 2013 at TP Snooker, Shah Alam as expected. Former national player Mohd Reza takes the number 4th spot after a hard fought battle over David Tang from Melaka.

Rory Thor currently holds the highest break lead with 101 points in his match against Chooi Yew Wah.

Alan Ng was over the stars as he beats Texas Yap 11-4 to clinch his first pool title here at 5 Star Snooker and Pool Club.

Alan was the hot favourite for the title as he played well in the Quarter Final and Semi Final matches. As for the Final, Texas Yap was never close as Alan literally sped through to cross the finish line.

Alan Ng took home RM 1,500 cash prize and trophy while Texas Yap only managed RM 700 cash prize and trophy. Semi Finalists Danny Lim and Hussein Abd each took home RM 300 cash prize and trophy.

Abdul Razak triumphs at Golden Break

Abdul Razak claims his first victory on the Golden Break Snooker Tour 2012/13 as he whitewashes 3 times finalist Alex Liew 4-0 at Golden Break Taman Connaught.

Seasoned snooker campaigner Abdul Razak narrowly scrape through his semi final match as he beat Fong Keng Seng 4-3 after leading 3-0 in the beginning. Alex Liew, in the other semi final match,  revenged his previous loss to Jason Cheong, beating him 4-2 to advance into the Final.

The Final cued off with in form Abdul Razak bulldozing Alex Liew over and won 4 straight frames to claim the title.

Abdul Razak takes home RM 2,000 cash prize and trophy while Alex Liew collects his third runner up's trophy and RM 1,000 cash prize.

Leg 10 Golden Break Snooker Tour 2012/13 moves on next to their Bandar Puteri Puchong outlet on 26 - 30 January.

JC Nah clinches his first victory in pool as he beats in house player Jacky Chia 9-5 to win the Amazon 10 Ball Pool Tournament 2013 in the early wee hours.

JC Nah takes home cash prize RM 1,200 and the Champion's trophy while Jacky Chia collects only RM 600 for his Runner up's effort. Semi Finalists Wee Liam and Jimmy each collected RM 300 cash prize and trophy.

Amazon Pool Club will be organizing another pool event on 28 January. Details will be updated here once confirmed.

Rory's 11th victory

Rory Thor makes history in Malaysia's snooker scene as he wins for the 11th time on XZ Snooker Tour 2012 after defeating Patrick Ooi 4-2 at Club 2 Snooker, Puchong.

Being one of the most consistent player throughout the year, Rory seems unstoppable at times although failing to perform at some of the bigger events in 2012. Nevertheless, he finishes top of the ranking list for the year and will through to next year as No 1 seed.

Rory Thor takes home RM 3,500 cash prize and the Champion's trophy while Patrick Ooi collects RM 1,200 and the Runner up's trophy. Semi Finalist Mohd Reza and Imtiaz Serwer each receives RM 600 cash prize.

Highest break goes to Mohd Reza with his 122 points during his Last 16 match. He walks away with RM 500 cash prize and an additional prize in the form of a snooker cue worth RM 850, courtesy of Wiraka.
